Happiness Is
(and a Giveaway!) Now Closed
- waking up well rested at 8:30
- a half pot of Gevalia Creme Brulee coffee all to myself.
- whole wheat bread toasted to perfection with a dollop of Nutella!
- getting all my laundry done AND put away (which is huge around here. you’d know that if you’ve ever stopped by and saw my stacks of clothes on the couch and coffee table….sometimes for days on end. I’ll admit it!)
- listening to the kids play happily outside
- lounging in my pjs ALL day on a Sunday
- doing crafts with the girls
- watching the Superbowl?
Ok, so that last one is a stretch for me. I don’t, nor have I ever, liked football. I just watch for the commercials, as cliche as that is.
Yesterday was a great day. It wasn’t beautiful out, but the kids enjoyed some time outside which allowed me to play around online and find a theme I liked for the blog. I plan on designing a header up there, so it won’t look so boring, but I am fond of the style of this one. I hadn’t noticed on the previous one that while you were viewing an entry, there wasn’t an option to view the previous or next entries. Not acceptable! lol
Anyway, I wanted to get to the giveaway. I got to thinking, I’m totally addicted to Gevalia coffee. I feel like I’m in on this awesome secret or something, because not a lot of people have heard of them. So in light of that, I wanted to share the wealth. Of course I can’t give you my Creme Brulee (because to be honest I finished it yesterday. boo) BUT, I do have a package of Dark Chocolate Truffle that is looking for a new home.

If I hadn’t had another one in the freezer, I probably wouldn’t be doing this. However, I’m feeling generous. Here’s how to play.
- Leave a comment for one entry
- Receive another entry for following (subscribing) to my blog (leave another comment telling me you are subscribed, please)
- Link to my blog (and leave the link in another comment) for 5 additional entries
I’ll use random.org to choose a winner on Friday at 10PM CST. Be sure to leave your contact information (if you’re signed in to comment, you’ll be fine)
If you’d like to become a member at Gevalia, they have a referral program that I’ll link at the end of this post. It is a monthly order program, however, you can change the frequency with which you receive your coffee. Since it’s just me most of the time while Bry is offshore, I only get coffee delivered every 4 months. It’s totally flexible. And check out the promo for new customers. I have the stainless steel pot an it’s great!
We’re off to go pick up a standing mirror I found on Craigslist to paint for the girls’ room. (I just hope she hasn’t given it to someone else first!) I’ll be back to *ahem* finally post a craft. lol

Oh, yeah, the coffee. I’ve been getting Gevalia coffee for hundreds of years now. I think I got your first coffee pot from there. Free. Even the little 4 cupper you took to the UW. My favorite of late has been the Creme Brulee. Regular and Decaf. Love it!!
I subscribed! Thanks for the tutorial- I had no idea!
