Jocelyn’s Party Prep
**Don’t forget my Giveaway! There are only a handful of days left to get in on it.**
When summer hits our house, so do the parties. It’s always boom, boom, boom, birthday, birthday, birthday. Abby’s came and went off without a hitch, for which I was grateful! I can attribute that to the huge amounts of planning I did, though. I feel sort of unprepared for Jocelyn’s birthday party this weekend. Eep! I think the main reason is that I didn’t actually create all the stuff for her party that I did for Abby’s.
Joss is at the age where manicures, pedicures, and getting her hair done is super fun. We decided this year, after getting a haircut at this super cute “kid oriented” salon, that we would do our OWN salon party this year. Much to my surprise (and delight), I came across this ADORABLE “dessert table with a twist” which was JUST what I was imagining, but all the work was already done! Score!
NonPareil had already done all the designing, I just had to enter the text and print. I was so relieved. Today I finally sat down to enter the text and get everything organized. I ordered all the bath product supplies and am just waiting on those before I can put it all together.
Come with me while I share with you all the cute printables NonPareil has to offer!
I bought a bunch of these cute slidey tins to put lip gloss in. I bought a super easy “melt and pour” type lip gloss and will be adding a sweet bubblegum flavor to it.

Here are the labels for these tins. Click on the photo to see it enlarged. Joss liked that it’s called “Joss Gloss”. haha
I have a bunch of signs for the tables, manicure station, hairstyle station, and the photobooth.
Then of course, I had to design some cupcake toppers, because they didn’t have any available on the site. Here are the ones I threw together. (it wasn’t hard at all if you have photo editing software)
I haven’t designed the labels for the lotion or hand soap, because I don’t know the dimensions of the bottles. It won’t take too long, though, seeing as they already have labels prepared for you on the website. I’m also making some epsom salts and the cupcake bath bombs they have instructions for in the magazine. There were a couple of other amazing recipes/instructions for beauty products on there, I just didn’t have time to do it all. (as much as I’d have loved to!)
I’m going to pick up a few pairs of flip flops for the guests and a couple of other fun things for the table. I’m really excited! I can’t wait to share the whole party with you. Now go check out NonPareil! They’ve got some great things over there.
